Senior Cost Estimator (Ceres)

Position : Senior Cost Estimator

Location : Ceres, CA Onsite

Job Summary :

The Estimator will prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical and industrial projects, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and other plant systems. This role requires a strong technical understanding of mechanical and industrial installations and the ability to produce detailed, reliable project budgets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical contracting or industrial project environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review project drawings, specifications, and scopes of work for mechanical and industrial projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate quotations.
• Analyze project risks and include contingencies in estimates.
• Maintain an estimating database for standard costs and historical project data.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and provide input on value engineering opportunities.
• Track and update estimates during project lifecycle as scope or costs change.
