As an Account Executive at Preqin, you can make an immediate sales impact and develop a strong pipeline. In this role, you will drive new subscription agreements with firms across the market by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities.
You will also be responsible for retaining and growing existing account revenue in a designated sales territory.

What you’ll be doing :
Manage the sales process from beginning to end, securing introductions with decision makers while providing support to users, achieving, and surpassing your sales quota
Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities within a defined sales territory; this includes new prospective customers and within an existing customer base
Provide prospective new business clients with an understanding of Preqin’s products and offerings while developing new relationships with key stakeholders at each firm
Manage all aspects of the renewal cycle for our client’s subscription relationships, with a focus on expansion opportunities within accounts and subscription renewals.
This includes proactive and consultative client support, ensuring high retention and net revenue growth
Provide clients and prospects with detailed proposals, product demonstrations, and consultations (in person preferred, or via phone)
What you’ll bring to us :
Significant sales experience in new business and / or account management business role within financial services, alternative investments, or B2B SaaS sales.
Demonstrable success and a record of hitting quota and retention targets
Negotiation skills as it relates to renewal upsells, cross-selling, and additional product add-ons
Working knowledge of the financial market data space, alternative assets, and financial services industries
