Position Overview
The IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees, ensuring that all IT-related issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities Include :
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
- Assist with the setup and deployment of new hardware and software.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and ensure it is up-to-date.
- Document and track all support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Conduct regular system maintenance and updates.
- Provide training and support to end-users on various IT tools and applications.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have :
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with network concepts and troubleshooting (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
