We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our client's team on a contract basis. The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for driving the full recruitment process, from job postings to onboarding, to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent aligned with its mission.
This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of the recruitment landscape and the ability to identify candidates who are not only qualified but also passionate about contributing to the well-being of families and children.
The position is based onsite in Los Angeles, CA, five days a week.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to attract qualified candidates for various roles within the organization.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create detailed job descriptions and candidate profiles.
- Source candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
- Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit with the organizations culture.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers, providing timely feedback and managing candidate communication throughout the process.
- Assist with the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are well-integrated into the team and organization.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all recruitment activities, candidate interactions, and hiring decisions.
- Stay informed about trends in recruitment and the child care and development services sector to continually refine and improve recruitment practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and organizational policies throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the non-profit or child care and development sector.
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment, with a strong track record of successful placements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
