We are looking for a Therapist Mental Health Professional (MHP) McHenry IL who exemplifies that mission, and who wants to work for an organization that makes a difference. Are you the right fit?
What will you be doing?
- The Therapist MHP is responsible for the provision of counseling, skills training and case management services to a caseload of clients who are diagnosed with persistent mental illness.
- Services are provided in family and individual treatment settings with both adult and children / adolescents. Services are offered both onsite and in the community / client home.
- Complete daily documentation of mental health services provided in accordance with state and agency standards as applicable
- Expected to work with a team of behavioral health service providers within the agency to ensure positive client-centered approach
What will you bring to the table?
- Bachelor's degree in human services
- LPC / LSW preferred and / or working toward LCPC / LCSW preferred
- Some experience working in social service
- Bilingual
- Mon-Fri 9am-5 : 30pm

What are the other requirements?
- The use of personal automobile, a valid driver’s license, and the minimum amount of liability insurance as defined by AID’s Personnel Policy
- Drive self and clients in agency or personal vehicle
- Must acquire and maintain certifications in First Aid, CPR, Non-violent crisis intervention training, CEU’s and other relevant trainings
- Must be able to provide therapeutic interventions as appropriate
- Covering non-scheduled shifts as needed
- Must be able to drive a passenger vehicle
- May be required to work multiple locations
- Must work one evening shift per week
