Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Board Member and with guidance from the Deputy to Board Member, the incumbent will serve as an advisor on legal matters pertaining to the California State Board of Equalization (BOE) and assists the Board Member in carrying out the constitutional responsibilities in administering, formulating, coordinating, and communicating tax programs and the application of California tax laws.

Assist with the legal work on the legal and legislative matters related to the Board Member's constitutional duties and the BOE programs.
