Mobile Applications Architect

Our client is looking for a Mobile Applications Architect for a 6-month contract in Irving, TX.

Contract Duration : 6 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience building applications using Android / iOS.
• 4+ years of experience in one of Cloud technologies - AWS.
• 6+ years of experience in a relational and flat file database technology.
• 4+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs.
• 4+ years of experience with a Junit, Selenium, Cucumber JS unit testing library (Jest, Mocha).
• Expertise in mobile applications development.
• Expertise in RESTful APIs development.
• Expertise in CI / CD development.
• Expertise in Instrumentation and debugging post production deployment issues.
• Attention to detail.
• Expertise with CICD pipelines and deploying apps to stores..
• Expertise in MVVM Architecture.
• Expertise in Dependency injection, Annotations.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience with localization / internationalization of the applications.
• Experience with security protocols in the mobile applications eco system.
• Experience Hands-on backend microservices & API development using Node.js, REST, JSON, Docker, NoSQL databases and Tomcat with full ownership of software architecture, design and development.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Ability to work in an Agile / SCRUM environment.
• Familiar with frameworks such as Angular, Ionic and native app development.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools - Git (Gitlab).
• Exposure to retail industry, experience with e-commerce applications.
