The Sr. Director, Sales Operations, Analytics, and Incentive Compensation will be responsible for leading the CRM, Sales IC, Call Planning, and Alignment / Mapping.
They will be responsible for other supporting projects that assist in the overall success of salesforce performance and report back final solutions for review / approval by VP of Sales and others.
This position will require a strong collaborator with diverse operational experience (especially Sales & Sales Operations) and excellent strategic, analytical and management skills.
The selected candidate will work closely with leaders in Sales, Marketing, Market Access, IT, Finance, Human Resources, and with external business partners to ensure alignment of commercial strategy and attainment of business goals.
This role will have direct reports and could have second line leadership responsibility in the future.
Responsibilities :
- Design and lead the sales incentive compensation plan, including quota setting, commission structures, and performance management (25%)
- Develop and oversee the sales targeting and territory alignment strategy to optimize coverage and maximize sales productivity (20%)
- Develop and manage overall alignment structure of the field force on an ongoing basis (15%)
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of sales operations tools and technologies, such as CRM, sales planning, and incentive compensation systems (15%)
- The remaining portion of the role will be comprised of serving as a strategic business partner to the sales leadership team and providing insights and recommendations to drive sales growth.
It will be critical to stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes that may impact sales operations.

Requirements :
- Bachelors Degree required
- Minimum of 12 - 15 years of relevant Pharmaceutical or Biotech experience with a minimum of 7 years of Sales Operations.
Specific experience in incentive compensation, alignments, and targeting is required.
- Past field sales leadership experience in life science is preferred, but not required
- Strong leadership skills and strategic & organizational effectiveness experience
- Experience in building and managing teams working on multiple projects in parallel
- Ability to develop and deliver concise and well supported briefings
- Deep knowledge of US pharmaceutical legal, regulatory, and promotional compliance requirements
- Knowledge, credibility, and maturity to influence senior management; problem solving orientation with strong strategic and analytical abilities, diplomacy, and negotiation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with both internal and external partners
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic small company environment
- Demonstration of a high level of character and ethics acting in line with a clear and visible set of values & beliefs
