American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced with trauma protocols, ARRT-CT certification, and strong stroke perfusion skills for night shifts.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a Level II Trauma Center with a main Radiology department covering multiple areasCare for inpatient and outpatient adult patients, with occasional pediatric outpatients and ED casesTypical caseload is 4 patients per hour, averaging 40 patients per day with 1 : 1 patient ratiosProcedures include CT-guided biopsy drainage, trauma imaging, angiograms, and stroke perfusion studiesUtilizes all GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR, with EMR experience preferredSchedule consists of 12-hour night shifts from 9 : 00 pm to 9 : 00 am, Thursday through SaturdayFloating required throughout the Radiology department within hospitalWeekend and holiday coverage varies per department needs and hospital policyVoluntary on-call coverage is availablePosition requires participation in hospital and unit orientation alongside another technologist on day shiftMust be able to float throughout different areas of the Radiology department as neededScrub color is flexible; any color acceptedFree parking is providedA 60-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within this distance are not eligibleFormer permanent staff must wait at least 6 months before returning as a travelerOne major and one minor holiday coverage required per hospital policy\n \n Requirements\n
Current ARRT with CT credential requiredCurrent BLS certification requiredAt least 1 year of CT experience with trauma, or 2 years experience for first-time travelersStrong experience with CT biopsy drainage, trauma, angiogram, and stroke perfusionState license preferred; license required if applicableComfort working with both adult and some pediatric patient populationsExperience with Cerner EMR preferred\n Benefits\n
