About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to join their mission-driven organization. The CGO will be a key member of the C-Suite, responsible for leading the development and execution of business strategies to significantly scale the impact of the organization.
This includes overseeing business development, sales, and fundraising efforts, with a focus on expanding the market for certified products and generating both revenue and social impact.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in business development and sales, with a proven track record of success in driving growth.
They should be a capable strategist, an operational leader, and a natural relationship builder, passionate about the company's mission and experienced in the private sector.
Key responsibilities for the CGO include creating and implementing business development strategies for various product categories, working with commercial leaders to meet growth targets, and supporting the development of philanthropic funding pipelines.
The role requires a candidate with strong management skills, the ability to mentor and lead teams, and a deep commitment to the principles of a just, equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
The successful CGO will be joining the company at a pivotal moment and must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, bringing a bias for action, and the analytical strength to prioritize and execute opportunities successfully.
A background in selling to brands, retailers, and experience in socially responsible and sustainable brands is highly valued, as is supply-chain expertise and an MBA or equivalent degree.
