• Demonstrates superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between business, product manager and development teams
• Drives technology discussion and strategy in line with business needs and implement product roadmap.
• Drives design and implementation of the roadmap
• Works with cross-functional teams to deliver features and significant product enhancements.
• Collaborate with UX in design decisions.
• Owns the releases and sprint backlogs, short-term roadmap for MVPs, and quarterly releases.
• Collaborates with software engineering team(s) to articulate requirements through the creation of user stories
• Develops feature acceptance criteria and test plans for product releases to minimize defects and re-work.
• Prioritizes continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of business problems and needs.
• Demonstrates strategic-level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.
• Drives dialogues that produce new perspectives and substantial innovation, enhancements, and analysis of consequences.
• Provides feedback to team members in the spirit of continuous improvement
• Connects ideas and solutions from a broad array of sources (e.g., what other businesses are doing, brainstorming with others).
• Coordinates team's work and performance with broader organizational objectives and manages conflicts between them.
• Performs initial and final financial reviews, and ensure ongoing budget tracking within the bounds of given budget

• Training of personnel to meet the required skills is to be provided by the purchased services supplier

• Resource should have familiarity with overall product management and deliverable approaches for development methodologies
• Working experience in Agile and Product Management
• Effective oral & written communications to both business & technical resources as well as peer to peer & upward communications
• Effectively lay out tasks, identify priorities and assignments
• Ability to use Microsoft products including Outlook, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint for communication and project management activities as required by the position

DES is focused on delivering technology for the Engineering division of the company. This role(s) will be responsible for all aspects (forecasting, planning, and execution) in the successful delivery of a product throughout its lifecycle.

They will have the responsibility to partner with business subject matter experts to clearly develop and communicate a strategic vision and product roadmap, as well as guide cross-functional teams to deliver product features by balancing business need with business strategy, minimized defects, and technical debt.
