Essential Functions :
Provide 1 : 1 educational tutoring, collaborate with patients' IEP teams, and support mental health treatment in groups run by mental health clinicians.
Program Highlights :
- Support mental health treatment.
- Average census is 4 (2-6) patients.
- Ages 7-young adult
- Average length of stay is 5 weeks.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) - "What you will need" :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in special education or related field required; Master's degree preferred
- License / Certifications : Maine Department of Education : Certification 282 - Teacher of Children with Disabilities.
- Experience : 1+ year of teaching experience.
