FREE ONLINE skills training Accounting AssistantResponsibilities : Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoiceprocessing, AR collections, payment processing, reconciliations and etc.
Monitor accounts receivable aging, prepare and send regular statements tocustomers, and follow up on overdue accounts. Respond to inquiries from vendors and customers regarding billing and paymentissues.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare and process expense reports, reimbursements, commission reports, andetc.
Assist with physical inventory count. Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a regular basis. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entriesand account reconciliations.
Support the accounting team with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed. Maintain and organize financial records and documentation in an accurate andefficient manner.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and comply with companypolicies and procedures required-skills : Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and accounting software (e.g.,QuickBooks, SAP) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and concepts.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
