Lube Technician
Join the Southern Motors Service Team!
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our growing service department. As a Lube Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our customers’ vehicles running safely and efficiently through expert maintenance and attentive service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and fluid top-offs according to manufacturer specifications
- Inspect vehicle systems and components for leaks, wear, or other potential issues
- Check and adjust tire pressure as needed
- Replace filters, windshield wipers, batteries, and other basic parts
- Lubricate moving parts to ensure optimal performance
- Keep engines and work areas clean during servicing
- Communicate vehicle concerns to lead technicians or service advisors
- Complete accurate service reports for customers
Qualifications
1+ year of experience in automotive maintenance or repair preferredASE certification a plusValid driver’s license and clean driving record requiredStrong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and time management abilitiesCommitment to providing top-quality customer serviceBenefits
