Description
SAIC is seeking to internally service a new position requiring a Senior Program Manager with direct production experience and Air Threat Simulation Organization (ATSO) program support / management exposure.
The Program Manager will be responsible for leading multi-disciplinary integrated product teams in the design, development, integration and test of avionics, weapons (inclusive of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems) and test systems for the DoD and Navy programs.
This position will be a hybrid remote position based out of our SAIC office located in Indianapolis, Indiana .
In addition, the Program Manager will be required to support the direct management of traditional and non-traditional subcontract partners with ATSO experience while overseeing the services and direct product deliveries required by the U.
S Navy to sustain its Electronic Warfare (EW) training family of systems. The successful candidate will have experience in developing and integrating systems, software & electronics while bringing new products to fruition.
They will also have citable Program Management, Systems Engineering and structured product design, development, and change management experience including familiarity with Development guidelines include AS 9100, ISO 9001 : 2015, IPC-1791 Trusted Electronic Designer (Class 1) and Assembler (Class 3), MIL-STD-498, DOD 2167-A, CMMI, CMM, AAMI SW68, IEC 62304 Medical Device SW Standard, FDA Process Control Guidelines, and IEEE 12207 equivalent processes.
This position will support an enterprise approach to provide successful delivery of multiple Electronic Warfare (EW) training systems and program prototype EW systems as ordered by the Government customer and a multitude of program stakeholders and requires the candidate to manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance, manages risk, customer relationships, and program staffing, and ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership.
Qualifications
Education and experience :
Bachelor’s degree and eighteen (18) years or more of related experience; Masters and sixteen (16) or more years of related experience;
PHD or JD and thirteen (13) years or more of related experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Required skills :
- A minimum of twelve (12) years of Program Management experience;
- Ten (10) years of System Engineering;
- Ten (10) years of Software Design and Development and Electrical Engineering Design, Development and Production Support includes robotics, fire control systems, radar control and missile development and production.
- Experience with the following tools : JIRA, Confluence, DOORS, AccuRev, PTC Windchill, CM Synergy, Change Synergy, CVS, PVCS, ClearCase, RequisitePro, Microsoft Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and VISIO.
Required clearance :
Must have an active Secret Clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret DoD clearance.
