Within this role you will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support of various IT applications and systems.
As a Senior IT Applications Analyst within Lab Systems a typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following :
- Coordinating across business departments and stakeholders, gathering and implementing enhancement requests across departments
- Acting as a Technical SME / Lead on initiatives
- Managing system documentation tasks, including converting User Requirement Specifications to Detailed Design Specifications, writing Configuration Test Plans, and creating summary reports
- Configuring reports (tabular, trend and labels)
- Processing IT Applications change control requests
- Working with Validation and Quality departments to ensure IT Applications are implemented following development life cycle approach
- Training other IT Applications team members
- Coordinating with other IT Applications team members to implement the system in an efficient manner
- Providing end-user support for IT Applications including troubleshooting problems at the application server level
- Leading IT Applications systems security access and periodic audit trail reviews
- Supporting day to day activities for IT Applications
- Providing on-the-floor guidance and support to employees
- Prioritizing the day-to-day work assignments for analysts within the IT department to support application troubleshooting activities
- Maintaining up to date training records for self and direct reports
- Other duties as assigned
