The Senior eCommerce Product Manager of Compliance and Accounts Payable role is responsible for driving the customer experience for Regulatory or Compliance-related aspects and the Accounts Payable module of McKesson Pharmaceutical’s business-to-business eCommerce platform, McKesson Connect.

McKesson Connect comprises of both extremely high-volume transactional services, as well as targeted communications and information resources for McKesson customers.

Many of the transactional or communication components of our website are required to meet regulatory or compliance needs of either our customers, internal McKesson departments, and / or federal or state agencies.

This Sr. Product Manager role, along with the team, is responsible for maintaining the product roadmap as well as defining enhancements and improvements.

They must drive the greatest differentiated value for customers and McKesson, and measure and analyze that delivered value.

That includes gathering customer inputs and needs relative to new development opportunities, researching options or approaches to solving problems or delivering value, playing a liaison role with support and sales on our various product offerings, and demonstrating and communicating the value of our offerings and changes to those offerings.

This role is responsible for coordinating with various groups such as legal, regulatory affairs, distribution / operations, IT security, McKesson accounts receivable, marketing, product management, and sales on any aspects of our online eCommerce platform that need to comply with regulatory requirements or react to changing compliance needs within McKesson or the industry.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Establishes and manages a strategic product roadmap that achieves both business objectives and customer value.
  • Product ownership of Compliance & Regulatory requirements such as Controlled Substances Ordering System (CSOS), online user agreements, specific user functionalities, and other compliance or legal-required information.
  • Product ownership of McKesson Connect Accounts Payable module (MCAP).
  • Work regularly with cross-functional teams (UX, technology, program, analytics, legal, regulatory affairs, distribution / operations, IT security, sales, and support) to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with product managers responsible for other areas throughout the business and our other external and internal-facing systems to ensure optimal and consistent customer experience and technology.
  • Work with sales leadership and field sales to optimize the value the solution set can bring to sales and account management.
  • Work with support personnel to identify trends and feed prioritization detail back into our product development funnels.
  • Understand broad technical capabilities in the market relative to ecommerce, digital communications, community, and identity administration, assessing potential and leveraging appropriately.
  • Keep abreast of competitive content strategies, primarily within healthcare distribution but also analogous industries.
  • Helping craft communications for sales and customers relating to our product offerings and development efforts and the differentiated value being delivered by our solutions.
  • Develop marketing and training plans and activities to establish, enhance, reinforce, and distinguish product within the market and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Measure utilization, effectiveness, and value to customers and McKesson.

Minimum Requirements :

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of digital product management experience.

Education :

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Critical Skills :

  • Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience in a digital product-related role in either a B2B or B2C environment.
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations with the ability to lead teams through effective product development operations and collaborate with cross-functional team members.
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate needs to a product roadmap and vision.
  • Effective relationship building with the ability to partner cross-functionally throughout the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate to leadership, in addition to influence and persuade key partners and stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to demonstrate and articulate the product’s value and benefit to customers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent understanding of product management lifecycle and processes, including discovery and implementation.
  • Demonstrated success in a product management, product strategy, product development, or business integration role.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills set with ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Use independent judgement to accomplish objectives.
  • Make complex decisions shaped by data and stakeholder needs.
  • Plan and prioritize work to achieve organizational goals.

Preferred Skills :

  • Strong knowledge and experience with agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Aha!, Miro, etc.).
  • Experience in a B2B pharmacy / healthcare space.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce software solutions is a plus.
  • Knowledge of any compliance or regulatory-related experiences is a plus.

Physical Requirements :

  • General office demands.
  • Ability to travel 10%.

Our Base Pay Range for this position : $120,400 - $200,600
