Facilitates production of events by coordinating with performing groups, arranging publicity, and approving expenditures.

Major / Essential Functions

• Develop and execute comprehensive event management plans, including determining event expectations, design concepts, resource planning, delivery, and fulfillment of contractual obligations.
• Collaborating with various departments, student organizations, vendor arrangements, and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of events.
• Managing and coordinating room reservations for activities such as academic courses, recruitment events, and K12 programming at the DFW site.

Implementing Cvent to track, plan, and market events.

• Collaborating with the event sponsor to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of financial obligations.
• Collaborate with the on site team for setup / take down, hospitality, and customer service.
• Assist with any other relevant activities as assigned by supervisor.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal).
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to show initiative.
• Technology Skills : Microsoft Office.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required plus three years related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of TTU Systems. Entrepreneurial mindset and vision.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Enthusiastic for creating memorable experiences. Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, experience in hospitality or event management.
• Experience with Cvent strongly preferred.

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
