Position Overview & Responsibilities : The Maintenance and ReliabilityTechnician will be responsible for performing technical maintenance and repairs on swine facility equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical systems, mechanical systems, and general facility maintenance. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively within a team to ensure the smooth operation of swine production processes. The ideal candidate will also suggest process improvements using data supported decision making.

Major Areas of Accountability :

Technical Repairs and Maintenance :

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and perform repairs on electrical and mechanical systems within swine facilities, including automated feeding systems, climate control systems, and waste management equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning of all equipment and machinery, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
• Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
