Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Intermediate Care Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 02 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type : Travel Requirements (Mandatory) : Active RN License in state of assignment or compact license Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Progressive Care / Stepdown (PCU) EPIC experience (required for all travelers, especially first-time travelers) Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - AHA NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Comfortable with : MedSurg-level patient assignments Drip titration : Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Levophed (≤5 mcg), and others Reading / interpreting cardiac strips Chest tubes, trach care (excluding fresh trachs), NGT, JP drains, wound care, blood transfusions, TPN / tube feeding Must live 100 miles away from any facility in the health system Completion of a nursing program approved by a board of nursing Registered Nurse license must be in good standing Parking : Free parking available.
