Key Responsibilities :

• Review and Compliance : Analyze loan applications to ensure adherence to company policies and lending regulations, maintaining compliance throughout the process.
• Credit Analysis : Conduct thorough credit analyses and review loan officer notes to assess risk and determine loan viability.
• Escrow Management : Oversee escrow accounts, ensuring accurate collection and disbursement of funds.
• Collaboration : Partner with the underwriting team to ensure loans meet FNMA guidelines and are correctly underwritten.
• Coordination : Facilitate smooth processing and closing of mortgage loans by working closely with loan officers and internal departments.
• Documentation : Review, verify, and maintain accurate loan documents and records, ensuring completeness and precision.
• Customer Service : Provide outstanding support to clients throughout the mortgage process, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism.
• Stakeholder Relations : Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders to streamline communication and enhance workflow.
• Industry Knowledge : Stay informed about evolving lending regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.

Qualifications :

• Education : High school diploma required; Associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• Experience : Minimum of 2 years in mortgage lending or a related field, with a strong understanding of mortgage processes and regulations.
• Skills :
• Proficiency in FNMA guidelines and mortgage servicing practices
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Basic math skills and comprehension of financial concepts
• Experience with loan origination and underwriting processes
• Familiarity with mortgage servicing software
