Certification Details
- Associates Degree in RN program, radiology
- Prefer 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP procedures in performing scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring / recording duties
- RN licensure required
- BLS, ACLS & PALS required
- Requires detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology
Job Details
- 13 weeks assignment
- 2 years experience current required in Cardiac Cath Lab
- Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment
- Responsibilities include Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology and / or Structural Heart
- Ensures that complete and accurate documentation is maintained
- Ensures accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case load
- Respond and provide emergent care
- Performs administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of equipment, and cleanliness of the lab
- Assures preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance in accordance to PHS, Local and Federal regulations
Schedule Information
- 7am - 5 pm - May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs
- On call, weekends and holidays may be required
Unit Specific Information
- Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval
- Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved
Additional Details
- Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position
- Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location
- State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice
- The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico
