GL Staffing Services, Inc is seeking a skilled and reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks to ensure that the apartment complex remains in excellent condition.
This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Full time - $17hr-$20hr
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintenance & Repairs :
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on apartment units and common areas.
- Address and resolve maintenance requests, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair tasks.
- Repair or replace broken or damaged fixtures, appliances, and equipment.
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Safety & Compliance :
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
- Customer Service :
- Provide exceptional service to residents by addressing their concerns and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Communicate effectively with residents and management regarding maintenance issues and updates.
- Administrative Duties :
- Complete and submit work orders and reports as required.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, and order replacements as needed.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Proven experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in a residential or apartment setting.
- Skills : Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and general repair techniques.
- Certifications : Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are a plus.
- Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, work in various physical conditions, and perform tasks that may require bending, kneeling, and climbing.
- Communication : Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
