About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : NICU Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night, 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years NICU experience required License : California RN License Certifications : BLS and Advanced NRP certifications required Must-Have : - EPIC documentation system experience Job Description : First-time applicants with over 2 years of NICU experience are welcome.
- Floating required to PICU and CTICU units.- Every other weekend or as needed for weekend coverage is required; flexibility is a must.
- No on-call requirement.- Skills and competencies required : - NICU III - Phototherapy - Tube feed / gavage - Blood and blood products management - PICC and peripheral line management - Administration of anti-seizure medications, caffeine, and vasopressors - Neonatal abstinence care - Phlebotomy - Bubble CPAP, HFNC, Ventilator management- Pre-approved time off is at the discretion of the manager;
must be included at the time of submission.- Flu vaccine required, with medical / religious exemptions only.- Candidates are required to float within the hospital based on census needs.
Kindly ensure license information is current and attached upon application. References from the past 2 years are required.
