Job title : Senior IT Project Manager.
Role Overview :
- Primary Focus : Managing large, complex IT projects for health-related systems.
- Responsibilities : Include overseeing project development, ensuring alignment with milestones, managing risk, and reporting on progress to senior management.
- Hybrid Position : Some onsite presence required in Quincy, MA, with a Monday through Friday schedule.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute project plans, including requirements gathering and scope management.
- Maintain documentation, task tracking, and defect resolution processes.
- Ensure effective communication between stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Mentor junior PMO staff and adhere to project management and SDLC standards.
Required Qualifications :
- Experience : 5+ years in IT project management, with 3+ years in large-scale applications management.
- Certifications : PMI PMP certification required, and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a plus.
- Skills : Strong communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and matrix resource management.
Preferred Knowledge :
- Health and Human Services Systems : Familiarity with state insurance exchanges like HIX / IES is beneficial.
- Technical Tools : Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and other project management tools.
