We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Onsite School Psychologist to join our team in Elmhurst, IL, for the 2024-2025 school year.
This role involves providing district-wide psychological services to students from preschool through 8th grade, including evaluations, parent meetings, and educational programming.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students across the district.
- Develop and implement individualized educational and behavioral plans based on evaluation results.
- Provide counseling and psychological support to students from preschool through 8th grade.
- Lead and participate in parent meetings to discuss assessment results and intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create and support effective educational programming.
- Offer training and support to school staff on psychological and behavioral issues.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
- Ensure pliance with district policies and state regulations regarding psychological services.
Requirements :
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid School Psychologist certification in the state of Illinois.
- Proven experience providing psychological services in an educational setting.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and munication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff.
- Experience with preschool and elementary-aged children preferred.
