BUSINESS ANALYST-CPQ PRODUCT MODEL DEVELOPER

The CPQ Product Model Developer will be an integral part of not just sales but also manufacturing processes. They will be responsible for building new products and models in our Experlogix CPQ configurator.

They will be required to understand our products, specifications, limitations, and order entry automation to create and maintain models that ensure the accuracy and efficiency of order entry.

They will maintain different aspects of the software designed for different applications and databases in an ever-changing landscape.

The CPQ Product Model Developer is responsible for maintaining and verifying product requirements specifications according to the established requirements baseline.

They must work closely with the organization's product management, engineering, and production teams to identify business requirements and develop ways to meet them for the optimum benefit and satisfaction of the organization.

The right candidate will have a data-driven, analytical mindset and look for ways to improve the existing architecture, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the CPQ system.

An eye for detail and the ability to see the big picture and focus on the immediate tasks at hand are important. They will report directly to the IT manager and have a team of other knowledgeable colleagues to aid in development, integration, architecture planning, and technical requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Overall lead for Configure Price Quote (CPQ) Platform (Experlogix).

Maintaining the Experlogix database.Testing / vetting new Experlogix builds to determine viability and stability for an upgrade.

Work with support / developers to resolve integration-related issues.Working with Experlogix vendor to report bugs in the Experlogix software and drive resolution and test fixes.

Working with business team members on Experlogix CPQ functionality / enhancements, understanding business and functional requirements, and coordinating with the Experlogix modeling team.

Develop and maintain scripts / style for Experlogix CPQ web application.Work closely with product management, engineering, and production to develop the proper tools and data to produce products.

Developing system tools using Experlogix CPQ, Microsoft Dynamics CE & BC (CRM and NAV), Microsoft Power Platform, and other tools that will facilitate business and manufacturing processes effectively.

Creating and developing functional system requirements within Experlogix for improving performance, quality, external interfaces, and constraints.

Work with business analysts and developers as needed to create the best tools and software experience possible for business needs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTSExcellent written and spoken communication skills.Ability to communicate and understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Exceed attendance standards.Bachelor's degree OR 1-3 years experience managing data and / or programming in a data-driven IT industry.

Develop and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications.Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications : 1-5 years' experience with Experlogix.Experience with Microsoft NAV / BC, CRM / Dynamics 365 Sales CE, Power Platform, Outlook, Excel, & Teams.

Experience or certifications in MS cloud platform tools.
