Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU
Shift : Nights / 7p-7a (12x3) 36 hours per week
Length : 13 weeks
Scheduling requirements : 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

- Number of Beds : 29
- Patient Ratios : 4 : 1
- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Dayshift unit secretary and 2-3 PCTs depending on census.
Nightshift has 2-3 PCTs depending on census
- Documentation system : Meditech
- Floating policy : Travel RNs float first. We rotate floating, and the oldest float date will float first
- Patient Experience requirements : We have a heavy cardiac patient population, and the CV surgery patients come to PCU when they leave our ICU.
We perform Q6H head-to-toe assessments and chart each one fully. We do the usual PCU gtts Dopamine, Dobutrex, Nitro, Heparin, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Milrinone, Amiodarone, Cardene, Labetolol, Insulin, and we also titrate Precedex
