Join our team and receive :

  • Up to $32 for RBTs based on experience and willingness to travel
  • Up to $30 per hour if not RBT certified (yet!)
  • $500 sign on bonus awarded 30 days after beginning work with your client(s)

In addition to an industry leading pay rate, Journey offers :

  • BCBA supervision and support at 15%-20% of your weekly clinical hours,
  • Paid training, including reimbursement for pursing and achieving your RBT certification if you don’t already have it,
  • Stable client caseload based on your location, availability, and experience
  • Paid client-initiated cancellations if the session can’t be rescheduled
  • Assistance with fieldwork hours for aspiring BCBAs.

If you are not already RBT certified, you must have completed the 40 hour RBT online training within the last 4 months before onboarding with Journey ABA.

Job Description :

Under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Behavior Techs (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are responsible for the direct implementation of skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans and will also collect data and conduct certain types of assessments (such as stimulus preference assessments).

We are seeking dedicated, passionate, and driven ABA professionals to work with our clients.

Then she will connect you to current BCBAs and Behavior Technicians to ask direct questions about what we are all about! Don’t be shy, we encourage all our staff to collaborate with us in an effort to continually improve services and the field of ABA.

Qualifications Required and Job Responsibilities :

  • Candidates with a current / active RBT certification preferred. If not RBT certified, candidate must have completed the 40-hour RBT online training within the last 4 months and be able to obtain their certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Required Availability - Weekday hours in the afternoon (after school)
  • Preferred Availability - Flexibility for weekend hours as available
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one-year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience with children and / or adolescents, personal and / or professional experience with autism, the field of ABA, or any adjacent field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have valid ID and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and an online ABA software data collection system
  • Must be fully COVID vaccinated.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Registered Behavior Technician certification
  • Direct experience working with children in a 1 : 1 setting
  • 1-year ABA experience

Work Location :

Multiple locations (we offer in-home services, so the location is dependent upon the client)

  • Can you be flexible to substitute and / or shadow other clients if your designated client has temporarily cancelled services?
  • Scenario : You have been fully trained and have been working with your new 5 year old client for 1 month. His target behaviors have included mild tantrums and learning life skills such as task analysis of toothbrushing.

During session, he exhibits a new behavior in the form of self injury and begins banging his head on the hardwood floor.
