Job Description

Do you have a passion for occupational health? If so, we have the role for you! We are looking for a compassionate & energetic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Employee Health team.

In this role, our APRN or PA will provide urgent and preventative care to prospective and active Stamford Health employees, partner with HR & leadership to ensure compliance with pre-employment & ongoing physical requirements, review all employee injuries & exposures, ensure compliance with workforce safety programs (OSHA, CDC), etc.

Our Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants provide supervision and mentorship to our clinical personnel, as well as serve as a resource to both staff and management in problem identification and resolution.

Full-time : Monday through Friday 8a-4p, no weekend / holidays / on call

Qualifications

For APRN candidates :

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of CT

A Master's degree is required for entry level practice.

An APRN license in the state of CT prior to start date is required.

Minimum of 3 years experience in direct patient care, preferably in Occupational Health and / or Primary Care required

For PA candidates :

B.A. / B.S. and completion of 2 years accredited P.A. training program.

Current NCCPA certification required.

A PA license in the state of CT prior to start date is required.

Minimum of 3 years experience in direct patient care, preferably in Occupational Health and / or Primary Care required
