Operations Financial Analyst, Logistics
Description Overview
This position provides financial & operational research and analysis for distribution & transportation network configurations, supports development of annual plan and periodic forecast updates, reports freight and distribution results including identification of variance drivers.
Helps create and trend divisional metrics and provides cost & operational support of supply chain projects including capital expenditures.
Ensures accuracy of logistics allocations and accruals. In addition, this position will provide support to procurement, CSCA business unit finance, and quality shared service and receiving groups.
Scope of the Role
- Provide data analyses to support distribution and transportation projects
- Produce scorecards to show performance against goals, analyze periodic results
- Support development of annual plan, periodic forecast updates and group risks and opportunities (R&O)
- Support Quality shared service functions
- Support Procurement in the analysis of Inbound Freight & other ad-hoc requests
- Perform warehouse cycle count testing including support for external auditor walkthroughs
- Support Receiving Warehouse function
Experience Required
B.S. degree in Supply Chain Mgt, Finance, or Business Administration. Experience with distribution and supply chain operations with emphasis on financial analysis of operations.
Demonstrates excellent skills in analytical reasoning with a high degree of skill and accuracy working with calculations and numbers.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow through on a variety of complex processes.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, including oral and written communication skills.
Experience using SAP is preferred.
