Locum Tenens Opportunity : Pediatric Emergency Medicine Near Foristell, MO

We are seeking qualified pediatric emergency medicine physicians for a locum tenens role near Foristell, MO. This position is ideal for those looking to provide high-quality care in a dynamic setting while covering for a variety of needs, including FMLA and an open position.

Position Details :

Key Responsibilities :

Schedule :

9-hour shifts, primarily during evenings and nights.

  • Coverage needed for approximately 15 shifts per month.

    • Practice Details :

    Provide care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

  • Manage a patient load of 14-18 per shift.
  • Department includes 13 rooms and 3 hall beds.
  • No rounding required.

    • Qualifications and Requirements :

    Licensing and Certification :

    Must be licensed in Missouri.

  • Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine is preferred; board-certified pediatricians with emergency department experience will also be considered.
  • Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (if not PEM fellowship-trained).
  • PALS certification required for PEM fellowship-trained candidates; ATLS required for non-PEM candidates.

    • Privileges :

    Hospital / surgery center privileges are necessary.

  • No temporary privileges available.

    • Additional Information :

    EMR System : Epic.

  • No call responsibilities.
