Hospice nursing plays an important role in the healthcare field. This form of nursing offers a high level of independence and dignity to patients and their family members.

Over 7 million people in the U.S. require the services of a hospice nurse due to a permanent disability, acute illness, terminal illness, or long-term health issue.

This area of nursing is among the fastest growing of all nursing areas. The skills of a hospice nurse make the needs of patients and family members a huge priority.

Job Description :

The Clinical Manager (CM) is responsible for the operations of the clinical team by providing daily oversight to the clinical, management, quality, and business activities.

The CM facilitates the management of clinical practice and patient care delivery through problem-solving and collaboration with peers, under the direction of the Branch Director.

Requirements :

  • Current Registered Nurse license within state of practice.
  • Bachelors degree required - Master's degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years of active experience as a RN in the home care - hospice industry.
  • One (1) year of Nursing management experience required.
  • Excellent Analytical and interpersonal skills required.
  • Knowledge of Medicare / Medicaid home care benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
  • Well-organized with a patient-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in computer use and knowledge of MS Office and other platforms.
  • Valid drivers license and insurance.
  • Reliable transportation to perform job tasks.
