Job Summary
If you take pride in cleanliness, organization and safety then you may be a fit for QSAC’s Maintenance team! The Office Maintenance / Custodian is responsible for upholding the safety and appearance of the physical office spaces across multiple QSAC facilities.
The salary range for this position is $16.50-$18.00 an hour.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Building Maintenance
- Adhere to building / maintenance / codes to ensure health, safety & welfare of facilities, individual and employees
- Maintain cleanliness throughout facilities, completing assigned checklists that include daily, weekly, and monthly detail
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and use responsibly
- Demonstrate safety and care of equipment and supplies to protect from damage and theft
- Driving to multiple QSAC locations is required
- Complete projects including moving furniture, deliveries, painting, plastering, etc. in an efficient and timely manner
Policies & Communication
- Utilize troubleshooting skills to determine best way to fix problems and communicate delays or emergency reassignments to supervisor
- Respond promptly to program needs throughout facility
- Identify problems in the facility and inform supervisor as soon as they are discovered
- Work independently in the building, staying focused on assigned tasks and priorities
- Prioritize work to complete time sensitive issues first
- Report to work for snow removal as needed
This position may require driving to other QSAC locations.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- High school diploma / GED, preferred
- Must have 1-2 years’ general maintenance and facility cleaning skills
- Must have valid Driver's License and excellent driving history
- Required travel to multiple QSAC locations
- Requires the ability to read, write and communicate & speak effectively with others English is required
- Attendance and punctuality is essential
