The Kern National Network for Flourishing in Medicine (KNN) is seeking a motivated, collaborative, and skilled professional Program Director to oversee the strategy, direction, and operations for the comprehensive national growth strategy to increase the use of the KNN framework for flourishing as a model guide in the health professions and with the work of clinical care teams.
Provide direction and guidance to the Program Office staff partnership strategy, facilitate the achievement of the program's goals, and monitor and contribute to reporting financial and narrative information to the initiative funders.
Collaborate and coordinate with the KNN Program Office and serve as a member of the leadership team.
Responsibilities :
- Direct the portfolio of programs for the Partner Development and Relations area of the KNN with the focus of expanding the use of the KNN's Framework for Flourishing in medical education and with care teams in academic health systems with specific aims related to partner development and business relations.
- Oversee the strategy, planning and implementation of KNN presence at external events including national conferences (KNN exhibition booth, receptions and networking dinners) and ensure high-touch relational follow-up from these events working with other members of the KNN Program Office team (i.
e., learning and engagement, student network, etc.).
- Oversee the documentation of partnership relations information in the KNN's customer service management platform. This includes continuous quality improvement efforts to ensure data integrity, timeliness and relevance to advancing the KNN's goals.
- Oversee the building of fee-for-service engagements for the KNN.
- Serve in a collaborative capacity as a member of the leadership team and contribute to the implementation of KNN activities and events.
- Serve as an advisor for how the KNN Framework for Flourishing can be implemented at interested institutions and translate the Framework within the area's ethos as well as programming.
- Lead from a relational approach with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor quality assurance and compliance related to the goals, objectives, and outcomes for the area.
- Initiate program development and advancement through literature searches, contact with outside programs and revenue-building opportunities.
- Maintain program policies and procedures.
- Participate on appropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the program and the profession or area of research.
- Provide guidance on the development of program materials including educational materials, presentation materials, marketing materials, websites, forms, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional policies.
- Ensure program data and progress are reported to program stakeholders, especially funders.
- Present the work of the area to funders and other stakeholders as needed.
- Direct the organization of internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events.
- Develop and manage area budget.
- May perform management responsibilities such as scheduling people and material resources, maintaining program timelines, and / or managing program outreach activities including acting as a liaison with community organizations.
- Recruit, hire, supervise and work to develop and retain area staff.

Fully Remote. Mon-Friday 8 : 00 a.m.-5 : 00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications :
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.
Minimum education : Bachelor's degree
Minimum experience : 10 years
Preferred Qualifications :
Preferred education : Master's degree
Preferred experience : 10 years in a director or leadership role; education, nonprofit management, healthcare administration, business.
