Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Bright Smiles Community Clinic & Dental. The ideal candidate is committed to providing culturally competent, patient-centered care and educating patients on the importance of oral health. This role is vital to our mission of serving underserved communities and improving access to high-quality dental care.

Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings, prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and fluoride treatments

Take and interpret dental radiographs (x-rays)

Conduct oral health assessments, including charting conditions of teeth and gums

Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options

Apply sealants and other preventive agents

Assist with patient triage and support dentists during examinations or procedures as needed

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health system

Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic safety protocols

Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and team members to deliver seamless care

Compensation :

$93,600 to $124,800 per year annual salary.
