Full Stack PHP Laravel Developer- Lincolnshire, IL

Location : Lincolnshire, IL 60069 (Hybrid)

Project Duration : Fulltime

Salary : $ 95k Annual

Summary

The Candidate is responsible for building web applications for our company. In this role, you will design and create applications using Laravel, Bootstrap, Vue framework and PHP, and assist the team in delivering high-quality web applications, services, and tools for our business The candidate is expected to consult with users / IT team members to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.

This candidate will be a contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and migrating database application supporting business processes with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value.

The candidate is expected to Interact with the team in highly collaborative and cooperative environment.

To be considered for this job, candidates are required to have the following skills and experience :

Primary Responsibilities :

• Design and implement web applications that mostly use the Laravel and Bootstrap, Vue frameworks.
• Implement CI / CD processes and tools for efficient and effective development workflows.
• Identify and fix bugs that are found within code using testing frameworks like JEST, React Testing Library and PHPUnit.
• Interact with SQL / NoSQL databases.
• Implement best practices, coding, and security standards, using the industry-standard tools into building enterprise web applications.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects by analyzing, researching, and solving application problems.
• Assist in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new and existing business applications and operating procedures.
• Analyze and provide solutions for complex tasks, providing design documentation as required.
• Work with team lead and product owner to understand business requirements to ensure best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with software developers and architects to analyze requirements, build software components, and deliver solutions.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet new environment.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Provide accurate and timely estimates for project tasks.
• Exhibit solid organizational skills and focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Exhibit excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Be self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Conduct code review to ensure the work delivered by the team is of high-quality standards.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5+ years of development experience in building LAMP Stack websites.
• Experience with PHP 7.4, 8.0 and 8.2
• Experience with Laravel 9, 10, Bootstrap 5 and Vue frameworks.
• Experience with JavaScript / jQuery
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with API development (REST, SOAP).
• Experience with JSON and XML processing libraries.
• Experience with Git / Gitlab with proficiency deploying CI / CD processes.
• Experience with React / Redux framework and Testing Library (JEST, React Testing Library, PHPUnit).
• Experience with React, Redux, Node.js would be an advantage.
• Experience with Agile Software Methodology.
• Understanding of the MVC pattern.
• Solid knowledge of OOP concepts.
• Understanding of MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server databases.
• Strong Experience creating stored procedures, views, triggers, and indexes.
• Excellent communication skills are a must.

Skills that are a Plus :

• Experience with C#.net MVC
• Experience with SAP
• MS Office Products, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Visio
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
• Cloud concepts knowledge is a plus.
