The staff and volunteers at Greer Relief exhibit such deep sincerity in their work while adhering to an evident standard of fun.
In my year at Greer Relief I have been an advocate for single mothers, a highly-valued kickball team member, and a budgeting teacher.
I’ve worked to help find shelter for the homeless in the morning and have been covered in stickers by giggling children in the afternoon.
I decided to become a part of the Greer Relief team for my AmeriCorps service because I was intrigued by their process of emergency assistance, but I ultimately found it to be an organization that comprehensively supports AND engages a very cool and diverse community.
