Position Overview : Soliant Education is seeking dedicated Sign Language Interpreters for an onsite role near Louisville, GA area.
This is a full-time, 1 : 1 position providing support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
Responsibilities :
- Facilitate munication between Deaf or Hard of Hearing students and their peers, educators, and staff.
- Provide interpreting services in various educational settings, including classrooms, meetings, and extracurricular activities.
- Support the academic and social integration of students into the school environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a supportive learning experience.
- Adhere to the Code of Ethics for interpreters and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements :
- Minimum EIPA score of 3.5.
- Valid certification and licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter in Georgia.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in an educational setting is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
