Job Description :
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in New Bern, NC.
The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of students. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative and supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
- Provide counseling and mentoring to students facing academic, emotional, or social challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies.
- Conduct and analyze data from functional behavior assessments.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to support student progress and address concerns.
- Provide training and support to school staff on topics related to psychological services and student well-being.
Qualifications :
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid School Psychologist certification / license for the state of North Carolina.
- Experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
