About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Operating Room (OR) - Ortho / Spine Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 6 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years required License : Valid RN License Certifications : - ACLS (AHA)- CNOR- BLS (AHA) Must-Have : - Experience in General Surgery, Robotics, Urology, and Neurosurgery- Skills Checklist pertinent to specialty, current to 1 year- 2 Supervisory References from the past 12 months Job Description : Collaborate with other health professionals to provide optimal care.
- Assess and analyze patient data to inform nursing care.- Establish goals and plan effective care strategies.- Prioritize and implement nursing care safely.
- Delegate tasks effectively to maintain a safe environment.- Provide both direct and indirect nursing care.- Evaluate patient responses to interventions.
- Perform additional nursing functions according to experience beyond basic nursing preparation.- Plan, prepare, and provide personalized peri-operative care using the nursing process.
- Direct surgery department staff in the care of surgical patients.- Take responsibility for call and call-back duties.- Flex interdepartmentally as needed.
- Participate in 6 call shifts per month with a 30-minute response.- Work one full weekend per month (Friday-Sunday).
