JOB TITLE :  Cable Inspector - 1st Shift

LOCATION : Clearwater, FL

PAY RATE : $26-28 / hour

Qualifying Questions :

Summary :

Inspect cables using predetermined methods, operations, and specifications.

Utilize measuring devices such as dial indicators, micrometers, and scales.

Accept, reject, or rework defective units or systems.

Work from blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, and inspection instructions.

Monitor and verify quality per statistical process and control procedures.

Communicate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management to resolve issues.

Perform assembly tasks in assigned inspection areas as needed.

Requirements :

High school diploma or GED

Strong background in cable manufacturing and inspection.

Experience with soldered and crimp inspection using IPC-A-620 standards .

Detail-oriented with ability to interpret drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, and work instructions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team and interface with multiple departments.

Proficient with personal computers and relevant software applications.

Must be able to read and write English.

No degree required.

Must pass medical screening as outlined in the supplier guide.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
