Overview :
This position can be located near any U.S. based Gilbane office with flexible remote and hybrid work opportunities. Gilbane is seeking an Instructional Designer II to create best in class learning objects across various modalities.
Instructional Designers partner with executive sponsors and Subject Matter Experts to define, design, and implement learning solutions that impact company success.
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement training curriculum using various delivery methods
Create learning messages that accommodate learner needs
Design engaging presentations
Apply developments in instructional design
Conduct needs analysis and design programs to overcome performance gaps
Collaborate with subject matter experts
Analyze technologies for instructional use
Implement evaluation plans for L&D initiatives
Manage instructional design projects
Learn and apply new concepts and technologies
Qualifications :
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION
BD or MS degree in Instructional Design, Education, or Management
3+ years of training experience in curriculum design
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Effective interaction skills
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of simulations and authoring tools
Ability to learn new concepts quickly
Familiarity with web-conferencing technologies
Business skills with a global mindset
Knowledge of the construction industry
