Overview :
The Parking Attendant is responsible for controlling / monitoring entry to the Jim Shorkey Parking Garage at PPG Paints Arena for guests , VIPs, and employee s.
This role pays an hourly wage of $14.32 to $16.00.
Benefits for PT roles : 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.
This position will remain open until October 31, 2024.
Responsibilities :
- Controlling / monitoring entry to the Jim Shorkey Parking Garage at PPG Paints Arena for guests , VIPs, and employee s
- Provide all guests a positive first impression by offering World Class Service
- Monitoring parking garage for safety and security of guests and employees and vehicles
- Provide guests with directions and other venue information
- Direct guests and employees to available parking spaces
- Ability to maximize number of vehicles per lot
- Respond to all comments / complaints in a prompt, courteous and professional manner
- Scan barcodes, QR codes, collect cash and / or coupons for entry and maintain security of cash
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance during all scheduled shifts
Qualifications :
- Must be polite, friendly and possess excellent interpersonal skills as this position has extensive guest and employee contact
- Ability to multi-task
- Must have reliable transportation
- The ability to work various hours as needed including nights and weekends
