Overview
This position is responsible for designing, planning, and contributing to the deployment of new Connect portfolio products, including but not
limited to Managed Connectivity, Managed Networking, Managed Security, and Managed SD-WAN services.
Requires a resource with strong technical skills and the ability to plan, design, implement, and test products.
Responsibilities
- Technical writing skills are critical to this role.
- Defines product architecture requirements, creating technical product specifications for new and existing products.
- Manages product architecture-related questions & escalations with Sales and Sales Engineers and Product Managers.
- Acts as a technical expert for Connect portfolio products and related technology fields.
- The ability to easily collaborate with Product Managers, Operational Engineers, Sales Representatives, Managers, and Sales Engineers.
- Participates, as needed, in UAT (User Acceptance Tests) of new products.
- Collaborates with other TNS teams to develop and update the dedicated & shared architecture components of Connect portfolio products.
- Defines product architecture guidelines.
- Provides recommendations and guidelines for shared infrastructure projects related to Connect portfolio products.
- Performs and documents POCs (proofs of concept) for new Connect portfolio products and technologies, as requested by Product Managers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and / or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of professional experience.
Experience in fuel and convenience is a bonus.
Demonstrated solid technical background in Networking, SD-WAN, & Security solutions.
Up-to-date technical certifications in Networking, SD-WAN & Security solutions.
Demonstrated experience with technologies like Cisco routing, Cisco Umbrella, and Fortinet products, among others.
Broad knowledge of the Enterprise sector and its networking and security-related needs (small, medium, and large
businesses), with a focus on Retail.
Ability to coordinate resources and initiatives from a remote (virtual) location.
High interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills; good listener; ability to provide a trusted voice at the decision-making table and advocate for TNS’ vision and value proposition.
Travel is an integral expectation of this position, up to 30% of the time.
For this role, we anticipate paying $135,000k-$165,000k annually. Any compensation range provided for this role is an estimate determined by available market data.
The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
