This Marketing Assistant / Administrative Support Position :
- Create and distribute all bulletins / marketing material used for revisions, incentives, marketing flyers, invitations, ads and communications used by the Sales / Marketing department.
- Create and support marketing email / mail campaigns. Establish metrics to rack productivity and develop strategies to improve effectiveness of each campaign.
- Assist in development and implementation of electronic and digital marketing campaigns including social media strategies.
Assess results and assist in development of strategies to capitalize on brand awareness that will help increase sales.
Assist with the execution of processes managed by the Marketing Administrator related to distribution and tracking commission override, contingency, growth contingency and other incentive programs.
Creation of communication of qualification of earnings or failure to qualify. Verify payment amounts on all incentives and contingencies and mails payments to qualifying agents.
- Assist the Marketing Administrator in maintaining the TSM Sales Procedure Manual by updating any section where operational changes have been made, duties changed, or new programs adopted.
- Create marketing materials needed for special events such as conferences or blitzes.
- Coordinate supplies and delivery to TSM as needed.
- Distribute and keep inventory of all promotional supplies.
- Review and disseminate all emails received via marketing email address.
- Complete other Ad Hoc or Special Projects as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- B.A. or B.S. or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of one year of marketing or non-standard auto insurance experience in Underwriting, Sales, Marketing, Product or a combination.
- Prior knowledge of Claims and Actuary preferred, but not required.
- The ability to train others and / or prepare training materials.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- A background in advertising / marketing is helpful.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of Photoshop or other graphic design programs strongly desired.
- Knowledge of Webex, social media platforms, and other marketing tools, preferred.
