The Aesthetic Center at Virginia Eye Institute is searching for a Registered Nurse to help with cosmetic and medical patients in our practice, as well as perform Sciton laser treatments.
This position will be responsible for working side by side with the oculofacial plastic surgeon and staff of the Aesthetics Center to help provide the best possible care for our patients.
Qualified candidates must have two or more years of experience working as a Registered Nurse.
We are seeking reliable candidates with outstanding customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be a team-player, self-starter, friendly, motivated, organized, and have the ability to work independently while sustaining a team environment.
A caring demeanor and the ability to build and maintain patient rapport is critical. The candidate must be highly productive and motivated to succeed.
The candidate will be responsible for offering the various treatments which may include : Sciton Ablative and Non-Ablative laser Neuromodulators, Botox, Jeuveau, Sculptra, Kybella, PRP, laser hair removal and Skin Care consultation / product recommendations.
The candidate will also be asked to participate in patient care in the clinic under the supervision of the oculofacial plastic surgeon, including pre-operative counseling and post-operative care activities.
In addition to performing treatments, this position will be responsible for the following duties :
- Medical charting on visits and procedures
- Adhering to state procedural regulations
- Maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Follow up with patients through email and phone calls
- Maintaining the aesthetic nurse treatment areas
- Equipment and laser maintenance
- Product inventory and ordering
- Selling services
- Work with the Marketing Director to create and update social media accounts focused on marketing services
- Other duties as assigned as assigned by the Physician, Supervisor, or Manager
REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum education : Registered Nurse
- Interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, management, and co-workers
- Willingness to invest time in self-education including reading, watching videos, attending courses.
- Ability to effectively handle challenging situations
- Ability to analyze data for decision making purposes
- Ability maintain a high degree of confidentiality
PREFERRED :
Previous experience in medical aesthetics
Experience with the Sciton Laser platform
