Tri-County International Trucks / Idealease is a family-owned business seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to diagnose, repair and maintain light, medium and heavy-duty trucks and busses.
- At least one year hands on experience as a diesel technician - preferably dealership or fleet experience
- Michigan State Certifications in Heavy Duty Truck. Trainee Permit accepted.
- ASE, Navistar, or Cummins Certifications are a plus
- Knowledge in the repair & maintenance of diesel engines, power trains, and electrical systems
- Diagnostic skills / experience & attention to detail
- Good verbal, written & computer skills
- Good character & work ethic
- Able to follow manufacturer’s policies and procedures for labor operations, time, and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs
- On the job factory training and certifications available
- Internal promotional / growth opportunities based on experience and aptitude
- Possess your own tools
- Chauffeur’s License required (CDL a plus)
Qualified applicant must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
Salary and sign-on bonus levels commensurate with experience.
