The Administrative Assistant to the University Director of Career Development provides administrative support to the Office of Career Development, including but not limited to :

- Use of electronic mail;
- Computerized data management;
- Assistance with the planning and implementation of events;
- Compiling information for research and special projects;
- Oversight of department social media and student workers.
Minimum Requirements :
- High School or GED degree required.
- Personal computer proficiency for word processing, spreadsheets, and data management applications. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and e-mail is required.
Experience with Datatel is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to work with various populations including students, alumni, staff, faculty, and external constituents.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
