This is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. Our iFlex RNs are expected to float if not needed at assigned facility.\n\nExciting Career Opportunity!\n\nOur iFlex Internal Travel Agency is hiring for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Spanish Fork Hospital in Spanish Fork, Utah.\n\nThis 33-bed facility sits on approximately 45 acres east of I-15 and north of U.S. Highway 6. As the fourth Intermountain hospital serving Utah County, it offers a wide range of diagnostic and treatment services in a welcoming community hospital setting.\n\nAbout The IFlex RN Role – Emergency Department\n\nAs an iFlex RN in the Emergency Department, you'll deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions and trauma. This role is ideal for experienced ED nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about providing lifesaving care in a community-focused setting.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n
- Triage and assess patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions\n
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions\n
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals\n
- Respond to critical situations including cardiac arrests, strokes, and trauma\n
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions\n
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Utah (or compact license with transfer within 60 days of hire)\n
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers\n
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)\n
- Emergency Department nursing experience required\n
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution\n
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four (4) years of hire\n\nCompensation And Benefits\n
- $68–$75 / hour flat rate, adjusted quarterly\n
- Competitive pay aligned with travel RN market rates\n
- Pro-rated monthly housing reimbursement for assignments 50+ miles from home\n

- Schedule : Full-time 13-week assignment\n\nTravel Requirements\n\nMust be willing to float throughout Intermountain facilities as needed, with a primary assignment at Spanish Fork Hospital Emergency Department.\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nOngoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.\n\n- and -\n\nFrequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.\n\n- and -\n\nManual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.\n\n- and -\n\nExpected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.\n\n- and -\n\nNeed to walk and assist with transporting / ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing / pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items.
